Church of St Andrew, Church Road, Mutford - East Suffolk
St Andrew's Mutford consists of a nave, rebuilt in the Late Medieval period but still evidently incorporating some Norman fabric in the lower portion of the wall. C14 chancel and south aisle, the 1891 south porch, the possibly C14 galilee porch and the Saxo-Norman round tower, altered in the C13 and then C14 when the octagonal bell stage was added - the tallest round tower in Suffolk. It is also thought to be a unique combination of a round tower and a galilee porch. Tower masonry in urgent need of consolidation; roof to Galilee porch leaking; drainage issues.
