Church of St Michael and All Angels, Church Street, Appleby Magna - North West Leicestershire
Possibly C14 origin, west of former moated manor house. External drainage renewed and extended in 2016 with funds from the Listed Places of Worship Roof Repair Fund. Low level plaster removed. Pews, platforms and boxes require sensitive repair once masonry has dried. Window tracery and glazing in poor condition. Specialist reports were obtained for an application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund but the scheme was suspended in 2020 due to Covid-19. Recipient of Historic England's Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund award in 2020 for repairs to chancel windows, now completed.
