Church of St Giles, Church Road, Swafield - North Norfolk

Known as Bradfield church. Parish church C14, with west tower of late C15. Flint with ashlar quoins and slate roofs. Nave and chancel. Nave aisles removed and church partly rebuilt 1786. Four-stage tower with string courses between floors. Chancel arch has unusual wall painting of Christ displaying his wounds, Tower roof and walls repaired, parapets reconstructed, north and south nave buttresses conserved, wall paintings conserved. Some drainage work and work to south nave floor outstanding
