Church of St Leonard, Rockingham, Rockingham - North Northamptonshire (UA)
Church of C13 origin. Rebuilt in 1660-70 after it was destroyed in the Civil War. Restored in C19. The church has a history of structural movement with notable movement occurring in 2014 and continuing through 2018 and 2019. By 2020 the east wall and south wall of the chapel were invested with ivy and chapel roof coverings were in poor condition. Historic England Covid 19 Emergency HAR funds were awarded in 2020 to investigate movement, remove ivy and undertake roof repairs. This work has been completed.
