Church of St Leonard, Rockingham, Rockingham - Corby

Church, of C13 origin. Rebuilt in 1660-70 after it was destroyed in the Civil War and then restored in C19. The church has suffered from structural movement and a more dramatic shift occurred in 2014. The cause of this movement requires investigation. Considerable ivy growth to the exterior of the church requires attention. Work to repair the roofs was completed in spring 2018 with grant from the Listed Places of Worship Roof Repair Fund. Urgent repairs to the rainwater goods were also undertaken as part of this grant.
