Church of St Thomas the Apostle, Pear Tree Road, Derby - Derby, City of (UA)

Large urban parish church of rock faced masonry of c1881 by J Peacock. By 2013 tiled roofs, weatherings and flashings were defective and there was considerable water ingress and woody rooted vegetation at high level. The National Lottery Heritage Fund has grant aided two phases of repairs which have addressed problems with roofs, high level masonry and plasterwork. The East Window was latterly rebuilt in 2018. A significant number of other windows are in poor condition and require urgent repair.
