Mostly vertical aerial photography flown by or on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries (MAFF) and the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service (ADAS) between 1959 and 2007. Coverage ranges from site specific crop epidemiology studies to blocks for land use studies and National Parks. It includes cover of Scotland and Wales.
The collection contains photography acquired whilst ADAS was part of MAFF, as well as material carried out on behalf of MAFF under commercial contracts once ADAS became an agency and then a privately owned company. The archive also contains material flown by ADAS for other clients.
