Description

The collection comprises the record compiled by the former Archaeological Diving Unit of St Andrews University between 1986 and 2002. Between these dates the Archaeological Diving Unit of St Andrews University was contracted directly by the DCMS to record and monitor the archaeology in on or under the seabed to the 12 mile limit around the British Isles.

The collection records details of wrecks around the British Isles in the form of log books, files, 35mm slides, negatives and video.

Access to the collection is subject to the provisions of an access statement.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by The English Heritage Archive in 2014.
