Collection: B E C Howarth-Loomes

Description

Bernard Howarth-Loomes (c1931-2003) was a photographic collector specialising in stereoscopic views.

His collection is on loan at the National Museums of Scotland. The NMR holds copies of approximately 365 stereo views of London, as well as c1000 views of other locations.

In 2008 the NMR published a book entitled 'Historic Views of London' by Ann Saunders; this used the London views from the collection.
