Description

The collection consists of 113 black and white photographic negatives. The negatives are predominantly copies of images from unidentified sources, and were compiled by C H Cooper in 1959-1960 for use as illustrations in his lectures.

The subject matter is ecclesiastical with national geographic coverage, and the images largely show restoration work and repairs to parish churches. There are a number of 'before' and 'after' shots, and also details of roof repairs, dry rot, stonework and gutterings. There is also a set of images of church plate, and a further set showing churches in Belgium.
