Description

This collection comprises two photographic postcards taken as part of the Daily News 'Sweated Industries' series. The postcards are part of a group taken to illustrate women working, and were used in a May 1906 exhibition in London.

Archival History

Provenance : Removed from the NMR Postcard collection Part of the "The daily News" Sweated Industries series of postcards. Both carry a hand-written caption "Those who need the vote & for those whom we need it". Presumably used as part of the women's suffrage campaign.
