Description

The collection contains 2 albums containing 52 mounted black and white photographs of carved screens in churches in Devon. The binding is marked 'Screens for Devonshire Churches'. The photographer is not known although it may be William Ellis (1843-1911). The photographs were probably taken between 1890 and 1910 and are 12 inch x 10 inch in size.
