Description

The collection consists of twenty-one black and white photographic prints, with accompanying 35mm strip negatives, taken by D M Archer between 1960s and 1980s.

Included are views of the Temple of Harmony at Halswell Park, prior to its restoration in 1993; John Wilton’s monument in St Edward’s Church graveyard, Goathurst; and the monuments to John Saunders and Robert Green in St Mary’s Church, Uffington.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by The Historic England Archive in 2008.
