Description

The collection comprises 697 black and white photographs (negatives with corresponding prints) forming a comprehensive survey of listed buildings in South Buckinghamshire, covering the parishes of Beaconsfield, Burnham, Denham, Dorney, Farnham Royal, Fulmer, Gerrards Cross, Hedgerley, Iver, Stoke Poges, Taplow and Wexham. The photographs mainly document vernacular buildings, although there are also some views of churches.

The collection dates from circa 1960, and was presumably taken by Ruth Dobson. No other details are known regarding its provenance.
