Description

The collection comprises 196 35mm colour slides showing the progress of construction of the Warwick Bypass section of the A46 road between 1965 and 1967. The slides show engineering, landscaping and finished sections of this dual carriageway that was built by Tarmac. The slides were taken by David M Brown and Stanley J Browne and are accompanied by indexes and a handlist.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by the National Monuments Record in 2010.
