Description

The collection comprises a single modern copy of a photograph showing the demolition of the first Exchange Building in Liverpool, Merseyside constructed in 1803-1808 by John Foster Senior in a neo-classical style. The original photograph was taken in the mid 19th century, prior to construction of the second exchange between 1864-1867.
