Archival History

Received Via : On loan from Garden History Society (GHS).1974 Provenance : Collection created by Garden History Society from 1966 to 1974, consisting of images donated GHS members. Many images are cuttings from various publications including Country Life and Sotheby's and Christies. A substantial number of the prints were not taken by GHS members or the donors concerned. Collection split into two constituent parts, firstly, general coverage from various donations, and secondly, material donated solely by Miles Hadfield. Individual photographers are often not identified. This collection represents material collected by GHS members over a period of time.
