Description

The collection comprises 450 colour slides created by John H Hammond in the 1960s and 1970s, and deposited with the National Buildings Record in 1982. The slides predominantly show buildings and sites in London, including architectural details, views of construction and demolition, shops, pubs, street scenes, and alleyways. There are also a number of more general views of the Thames and the buildings beside the river. Alongside this are a set of images of Bristol, including Red Lodge, the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Cathedral, and the Temple Church. There is also a smaller set of images of Winchester and Chawton.

There is a handwritten index to the collection.
