Received Via : JAW01/1: Donation by Mr J A Ward, 10/10/1997JAW01/2: Via J A Ward, 28/07/2000 Provenance : Mr Ward began recording and photographing milestones and guideposts whilst travelling around the country on business or for pleasure. Main interest was in those of unusual design, with interesting wording, or where there is a particular story attached.

JAW01/2 Donated by MR Ward, 28/07/2000 These constitute ancillary notes to the existing J A Ward Milestone and Guidestoops collection. They represent sites that were not considered to be worth photographing and those for which further research is required.
