Description
The collection comprises in the main record sheets and photographic prints created by Dr Joanna Close-Brooks whilst working on the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) Doomsday Survey of Barns, in November - December 1986. The barns covered are all located in the New Forest area of Hampshire, and this output is part of a larger survey undertaken by a range of individuals.
In addition there are eight photographic prints of buildings in Milford on Sea, and a building report and four measured drawings relating to 46 High Street, Milford on Sea.
Archival History
The collection was acquired by the Historic England Archive before 2016.
