Collection: J D Bennett Collection

Description

This collection consists of twenty-one photographic prints - including four carte de visite - collected by J D Bennett and donated to the Archive in 1993. The photographs date from circa 1860-1900, and are primarily exterior views of country houses, some of which have now been demolished. There are also views of the Tower of London, Lambeth Palace, and St Thomas' Hospital seen from Westminster Bridge, as well as one print showing the village of Penshurst.
