Description

The collection comprises black and white photographic negatives and prints showing the construction and completion of Kingsnorth Power Station, Kent between 1963 and 1973. There are 596 photographs with captions mounted in 3 large albums providing an index to the negatives that do not have captions. Some of the prints show aerial views. All negatives in run K1-K449 are present except numbers 5, 48, 103, 161, 181, 276, 350, 361, 371 and 439. Other runs are complete and have the references PM 1047-PM 1076, PM 1083-PM 1089, PM 1239-PM 1287, PM 1641-PM 1648, PM 1950, PM 1953-PM 1954 and PM 1956.

The collection was acquired by The English Heritage Archive in 2015.
