The collection comprises two albumen photographic prints by John Lucas and William Tuck, dated 13th May 1869, showing construction work to enlarge the Limehouse Basin, Tower Hamlets, London. The prints are labelled ‘Edwin Thomas Esq. M.I.C.E. Engineer’ and ‘Lucas & Tuck, 7 Haymarket, SW’.
