Description

Collection of photographs and other material from the Greater London Council and the London County Council. Sites include schools, country houses and ecclesiastical sites. The collection covers mainly the home counties. The prints are annotated 'Statutory Groups Print Collection' or GLC Historic Buildings Division Works Section prints'. Some batches of prints are marked as unidentified. Second acquisition includes significant material on the market buildings at Covent Garden, including reduced copies of 19th century architectural drawings.

Third acquisition of oversize material annotated 'Statutory Groups Print Collection' transferred to the NMR on closure of Savile Row Office in 2006. Some aspects of the collection have outline catalogue records only.
