The collection contains a photographically illustrated book entitled 'Moor Park with a biographical sketch of its principal proprietors' by Robert Bayne (London: Longmans, 1871).
The book is illustrated with engravings and real black and white photographs taken by H V Lemenager. The photographs comprise: 1: The mansion; 2: An aged couple (two old trees and a groundsman); 3: The upper pleasure grounds; 4: The Italian garden and lawn; 5: The cottage garden; 6: The Hall (interior showing painting and furniture); 7: The Temple; and 8: Lord Ebury (taken by Maul and Fox).
Acquired by the NMR in the 1950s.
