The collection contains 17 half-tone photographs and 41 maps of England and Wales produced by and for the Luftwaffe (German air force) in the 1930s and 1940s.
The images show targets at New Brighton, Blackburn, Manchester, Southport, Warrington, Blackpool, Knowsley, Skegness, Earlestown, Salford, Doncaster, Canterbury, Southport, Rainford and Burtonwood. There are three target maps for Speke and Warrington. The remaining maps are German translated copies of Ordnance Survey 1cm to 1km originals (no annotations).
Also in the collection is an RAF pass book dated 1944 for LAC W.H. Connor and an RAF group photograph. There are also two montage printouts of copies of photographs showing people in uniform and 5 German illustrations of Luftwaffe aircraft.

The collection was purchased by the NMR in 2008.
