Description

The collection comprises 144 35mm colour photographic slides taken by Martin Dru Drury (born 1938). Martin Drury was an expert in antiques and furniture, joined the National Trust in 1973 and held the post of Director General between 1996 and 2001. The slides were taken between 1964 and 2003 as a reference to inform his work. They show a variety of types of historic buildings across England but primarily show stately homes and cottages.
