Description

The collection comprises 11 wood-mounted lantern slides showing Lichfield Cathedral in 1869. Some of the slides are hand-coloured. Four of the slides are exterior views; the remaining images show general interior views or individual monuments within the cathedral.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by the Historic England Archive in 1973.
