Received Via : Donated via NADFAS 1: 03/1998 2: 12/1998 3: 01/11/1999 Provenance : National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies (NADFAS) has been recording churches in considerable detail since 1972. To date they have recorded over 700 churches with another 40 - 50 new records each year. The records are created by regional groups and then checked by NADFAS HQ prior to dissemination. Copies are provided for the church, the Council for the Care of Churches, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and NADFAS retain a copy. The first batch included records of several Welsh churches, which have now been transferred to the RCAHM(W).
