Description

A collection of forty-five black and white photographic prints taken by Arthur H Page, a London-based professional photographer, in the 1940s. The photographs primarily show ecclesiastical buildings across England, covering exterior and interior views, architectural details and tombs, including: St Paul's Cathedral, Ely Minster, Lincoln Cathedral, Chichester Cathedral, Wells Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral, Lichfield Cathedral, Worcester Cathedral, Winchester Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, York Minster, Beverley Minster, Gloucester Cathedral, Durham Cathedral, Lacock Abbey, King's College Chapel Cambridge, and St Mary's Church, Warwick. In addition there is one print showing Windsor Castle.
