A collection comprising two copies of a report and correspondence relating to excavations at Greyfriars, Oxford. These excavations were carried out by T.G. Hassall on behalf of the Oxford Archaeological Excavation Committee between 1968 and 1971. A trial trench was opened in 1968 and major excavations were undertaken between 1969 and 1971. Dr. Pantin, an RCHME Commissioner, donated the archive to the NAR. During the excavations he provided advice and was involved in the interpretation of the Greyfriars' information.
