Description

The collection comprises 29 black and white photographic prints of interiors and exteriors of cinemas in Greater London. Some of the photographs bear the stamp of photographer and cinema organ specialist John D. Sharp. It is likely that he took all the photographs. The photographs include views of cinema organs and organists. The dates of the photographs are unknown but they were likely to have been taken in the 1950s or 1960s.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by the Historic England Archive in 2025.
