Archival History

The collection was acquired by the NMR before 2007. The copies are of early album images owned by Commander Richard A. B. Phillimore (1903- 2004) of Shedfield House, Hampshire. See published volume "The Phillimore Papers 1798--1945. An Illustrated Guide to a Naval, Political, Country House and Estate Archive."
