Description

This collection comprises twelve glass plate negatives showing unidentified trains and railways, at least one of which possibly shows the Great Central Railway. The photographs were taken circa 1910-1914, and show trains travelling at speed. They include views of steam engines pulling mainline passenger and goods trains. No information is known regarding the photographer or provenance of this collection.
