Description

A small collection of glass plate negatives of mostly London buildings dating from the late 1920's. The collection has no known source. The collection includes a view of the now demolished Johnson Head Bookshop which had associations with writers Aldous Huxley and Christopher Fry. There is also one photograph of Satis House in Rochester.

Archival History

The collection was found in an English Heritage London region office drawer and passed to the NMR via Rodger Bowdler.
