Description

The collection contains three black and white photographs of perspective artist impression drawings submitted to the competition to design the new Courts of Justice buildings on Strand, London. The courts became the Royal Courts of Justice in London to a different design. The prints are marked 'Coll Alfred Jones Bath' which means that they may have been at one time in the possession of Alfred Jones (died 1928), a book dealer in Bath, Avon. The artist of the design and the photographer are unknown.

Archival History
