Description

A collection of 139 glass plate negatives by the photographer Roland Huth (1883-1949), dating from the 1940s. The majority of the collection shows ecclesiastical subjects, including several cathedrals (Ely, Canterbury and Gloucester) as well as London churches. There are also several photographs of Cambridge University colleges, the Tower of London, Romsey Abbey, Tewkesbury Abbey, and the Temple in the City of London.

The negatives were purchased by the National Buildings Record in the 1940s.
