Description

The collection consists of a published book entitled ‘Royal Insurance Company, Liverpool’’, edited by J. Newby Hetherington and published in 1903 by B. T. Batsford, 94 High Holburn, London.

It includes thirty-one large format black and white photographic prints showing views of the Royal Insurance Company’s building on the corner of North John Street and Dale Street, Liverpool. The building’s architect was J. Francis Doyle.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by The English Heritage Archive in 2007.
