H M Taylor was a former RCHME Commissioner, Vice-Chancellor of Keele University and co-author, with Joan Taylor, of the authoritative 3 volume Anglo-Saxon Architecture.

The collection contains source material for the Anglo-Saxon Architecture volumes and also include extensive information on European church architecture.
