Description

Donald Thompson carried out a photographic survey of the henge monument Arbor Low in the 1950s. Some of the photographs were used in the preparation of the MPBW guidebook to the prehistoric monuments of Derbyshire. Thompson donated 3 reels of 35mm negatives of the survey to the NAR. The archive comprises the key to the films, a bibliography, a newspaper cutting and three copies of plates (engravings) taken from publications by Thoman Bateman.
