Description

The collection contains eleven glass plate negatives, dating from the 1930s - 1940s, with no known provenance. Five of the photographs show Wimbledon Windmill and Golf House. There is one photograph showing a man looking over a bridge over a brook on Wimbledon Common, and another photograph showing a distant view across Kingston Vale from Wimbledon Common. The remaining photographs show the ballroom at Haddon Hall, Derbyshire; Old St Boniface Church at Bonchurch, Isle of Wight; Christchurch Priory, Dorset; and a general view looking along a lane near Bournemouth.
