Description

The collection contains 136 annotated colour slides, mostly taken by Tony Hartridge between 1974-1976. The slides primarily document buildings in Bath and Bristol receiving grant aid for major repairs. Subjects include: Royal York Crescent, Clifton, Bristol; St Michael's Hill, Bristol; Colston's Almshouses, Bristol; Ashton Court, Bristol; Pulteney Bridge, Bath; Theatre Royal, Bath; Green Park Station, Bath; The Circus, Bath; and Eagle House, Batheaston. The slides represent above average quality images of Georgian buildings after post-war restorations and repairs.
