Description

The collection comprises two VHS video cassettes containing footage taken by former custodian at the house, Stewart Lumsley and recorded by him off broadcast television. The videos contain the following footage taken by Stewart Lumsley:: Ian Valentine, a seasonal member of staff, giving a tour of the grounds in 2002; the gift shop; floods when the River Cam burst its banks; seasonal staff gathering featuring a ride on the Audley End Miniature Railway in July 2003; and building of the service wing and visitors centre.

Access to the video is restricted as it has not yet been viewed by Historic England staff or converted into a format that can be made available to researchers.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by the Historic England Archive in 2025.
