Description

The collection contains 2 measured drawings, probably produced at some date between 1918 and 1960.

The first comprises: partial floor plans of the ground and first floors of Walton Manor House, Walton on the Hill, Banstead, Surrey. It is an original pencil and ink drawing showing the phased development of the house and was probably created for illustration in a publication. It is undated and the draughtsman is unknown.

The second comprises: elevations, sections and details of the doorway on the upper floor of the west end of the Great Hall, Walton Place (probably Walton Manor House). It is an original pencil and ink drawing with scales and it was probably created to illustrate a publication. The drawing is undated and the draughtsman is unknown.

The collection was acquired by the NMR in 2010.
