Archival History

Received Via : Berkshire Record Office, 1995 (misc documents only) Provenance : Edward Yates (d. 1957) undertook much photographic work for the Survey of London and commissions for Walter Godfrey. It is probable that many of the 4000 negs Yates transferred to the NBR in the 1950s, came as the result of such commissions.
