Description

The crosshead is carved in Oolite, and was thought to have been brought from another site. It was found embedded in the south wall of the sanctuary of St. Michael's, before being removed and put on display.

Archival History

The location is ambiguous. This image came from a batch labelled "Worcestershire - Upton Upon Severn and Wyre Piddle", and the previous one came from a batch labelled "North Wiltshire".
