This picture appears in Farmers' Weekly magazine for December 22 1963 on a page tactfully captioned 'Bottoms Up'. An almost identical image appears in Country Fair magazine for September 1955 with the caption ' Eleven little roses watch the boys knocking 'em down in the skittle alley'.
