Description

The model was 'presented to the church in 1936 by the Rev. E. C. Alston, vicar, in memory of the men who have lost their lives round these coasts'. 'Olivebank' was the largest of the 45 Bankline Sailing Fleet, her career lasting 47 years from 1893 onwards, until on 8th September 1939 she struck a mine off Jutland, and only seven of her crew were saved.
