Two of the six lead statues within the gardens of Hardwick Hall, said to represent Bacchus and Salome. The statues are situated just south of the southern facade of the Hall,at the northern end of the central walk through the formal garden

Description

The statues were made in the 18th century, and were brought to Hardwick from Chatsworth in 1868. The other four statues represent the Muses
