Description

This photograph was taken during the filming of a garden make-over, possibly for BBC television's current affairs programme 'Tonight'. At the time, Rose Cottage was home to the journalist Anne Scott-James, her husband and fellow journalist, author and war correspondent Macdonald Hastings (1909-1982) and their two young children.
