Description

The Italianate building comprises numbers 26-38 Queen Victoria Street and includes the premises of Edward Marcus (optician), Frank Rocke (tobacconist) and Harry B. Hart (boot maker). The bombed building belonged, perhaps fortunately, to the Standard Life Assurance Company.
